Free motion or kantha scarves

Mindful, organic free-motion sewing combines small pieces of fabric, sometimes in combination with sari silk, threads, yarns, and embroidery floss. Wear or display a one-of-a-kind piece of art that supports the planet. Please specify dominant color of piece (green,red, lacey blue, pink/purple, multi, blue with pink, blue with birds, black.

Lacier, grid like sewing with small squares of fabric represent a lighter, height-of-summer or this-office-is-suffocating weight. Please specify summer weight and dominant color.

Kantha quilts of saris from India become warm and decorative scarves. Some have additional hand embroidery, beads, or tassels. Please select magenta or yellow-orange, or green.

Special orders considered: a special color (send sample or accurate photo of dominant color), fabric from old favorite clothes, linen tablecloths, curtains, etc. Also please specify length if desired as a table runner. Long runners may require a somewhat higher cost.
